Using Designer's Gallery LetterWorks create the words "Watch Me Grow" in a block font.

Choose an envelope shape to adjust as desired.

Save the design and print a full size template.

Mark the green fabric using the template as a guide.

Hoop the green fabric piece and tear away stabilizer.

Embroider Watch Me Grow on green fabric using your preference of embroidery thread colors.

When the embroidery is complete remove the design from the hoop and tear-away any excess stabilizer. Lightly press.

Stitch tape measure to center of the 3" x 36" green fabric starting with the 60" mark at the top. Cut off the extra tape measure. This is the center strip.

Join the two 7" x 36" paw print to each side of the center strip using 1/2" seams.

Press seams toward the paw print fabric.

Stitch the 1 1/2" x 17" multi-color fabric to the top edge. Then prepare the curved top piece.

Mark and cut th ecurve on the green fabric 1 1/2" above the words "Watch Me Grow" and trim.

Stitch the curved "Watch Me Grow" piece to the 1 1/2" x 17" multi-color strip (step 11) at the top and set aside.

Hoop the white fabric piece and tear away stabilizer.

Select the first design and embroider using your preference of embroidery thread colors.

When the embroidery is complete remove the design fromt he hoop and tear-away any excess stabilizer. Lightly press.

Using the rotary cutter mat and ruler trim the white fabric around the design. The block should measure approximately 4 1/2" x 4 1/2".

Repeat embroidery process for the remaining five embroidery designs.

Iron 1/2" of fabric on the embroidery all the way around to form 4" squares. Be sure your embellishments are center.

Topstitch around each one 1/8" from th eedge.

Repeat the ironing and topstitching process for the 3 green blocks and 4 multi-color blocks using red thread.

Position blocks on quilt top and pin in place.

Topstitch blocks to quilt top using a decorative stitch.

Topstitch 4" x 4" clear vinyl to the top of the color blocks. Note: Use a Teflon sewing foot or place tissue paper over clear vinyl so it will move under the presser foot.

Layer your quilt. First the backing then the batting and last the top. Baste together.

Quilt as desired around each block along the green cente down the sides across the top border and around the curve at the top.

Sew the 1 1/2" x 20" paw print strip to the bottom of the quilt for binding and hand stitch to finish off

Sew together the 1 1/2" x 45" strips of multi-color fabric together for binding and sew on.

Clip curve at top.
-
Turn the binding over edge and hand stitch to finish.

To form the rod pocket press the short edges of 8" x 10" paw print piece and turn over twice.

Topstitch then fold in half lengthwise with right sides together and stitch.

Turn inside out and press.

Pin in place on back of quilt near top and hand stitch it along the top and bottom edge to attach it to the quilt back.
